Marshall JTM60 three-speaker combo
Why we bought it
The short-run mid-nineties JTM60 with the factory three-speaker layout, two 10s and a 12. It throws a wide, room-filling spread the standard combo does not, with the JTM's clean headroom and a reverb that suits it. On the bench: both channels work, the reverb works, every control responds, no crackling pots, the tubes are healthy with strong output, and it ran a full hour without a hint of overheating. A gigging combo that has been looked after.
